About the only thing you can do is use the streets from a more recent version of Streets & Trips or AutoRoute and paste them in... this is a bit of a dirty hack, it breaks some stuff, and is not for the faint of heart.. but people have reported that it works.

Check the articles section for using AutoRoute 2003 data with MapPoint 2002. The procedure would be the same I believe.
