Now i'm confused the quote you've given says I can have a Mappoint Control Runtime Licence and the link you've given says i can create a standalone installation, presumably by deffinition this wouldn't require a full install of mappoint and a full license.

However Wilfred has claimed I do need a full license of mappoint for every PC my app runs on (Mappoint license aren't cheap!).

Also presuming calv1ns is right and I can purchase runtime license how much cheaper are these. I remember when I used to build apps with access you could distribute runtime versions freely.

This is all very confusing the license issue really needs to be more clearly defined.
