I even called Microsoft, and talked to someone about it. They couldn't give me a reason why, which I thought was weird. I can't figure out why they would allow a query with the criteria for customer id to be "1" but will not allow the same query with the criteria for customer id to be Forms![Customer Form]![Customer ID].
