Tbanks for replying. Two questions:

1. Even if I play with the file in arcview or some other gis, won't I still be unable to view it in map point since it can't be georeferenced?

2. When you say the two versions of mappoint differ only in that one includes a gps, you mean a hand held gps device, right? It must be a cheap one since the price difference isn't that great. So either would be capable of having gps data uploaded into it and put in as a layer?
