I will try to play around with the file using ArcView - my cartographic specialist will help. I have several files so even if just one is zoomable that might be enough.

I'm not planning on putting in layers from a gps device for at least another year, so I won't worry about Coordex for now, but thanks.

Does ArcView or mappoint have its own parsing function? I have data in Access - addresses - that I need to parse up to map and sort it. Does Access or Excel have such a function? I thought it might not be available in generic form because of local differences.
