I used to buy a lot of GIS data and never found anything on there of value... anyway, their former editor Glenn Letham (before qLinks) has been building GISuser.com GIS, GPS, LBS, CAD, etc. for a few years now.. that is probably a much better portal now than the GeoCommunity.com.. I used to like how he got involved in the community (GISList) and the articles and content he developed was always interesting.
