| 2002 Loading Help I'm new & looking for help. Needed to rebuild my XP system from scratch. When reloading my MP 2002, everything seemed to go okay, but the load just hung at the end of disk 2. No message, nothing. CD appears to be fair. Any thoughts on how to save myself ? Also, should I need to seek a replacement, how much newer can I get and still have the same look and feel. Any help is appreciated.         |

There are not huge differences between versions, that said, the toolbar look did change going from MapPoint 2006 -> MapPoint 2009. You might not even notice a difference going from MapPoint 2002 -> MapPoint 2006, but you definitely would going from MapPoint 2002 -> MapPoint 2009. Nonetheless, besides the look of the toolbars, nothing drastic changed. You still have all the same functionality. MapPoint 2010 fixes some things people complained about regarding MapPoint 2009 and also adds a lot of cool stuff like the ability to control map layers. I'd recommend to check out MapPoint 2010, there is a free trial you can download -- http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en By the way, I'm in Chicago, too! Eric
