| 2004 North American Gaming Almanac The North American Gaming Almanac Covers Nearly 1,500 Casinos, Card Rooms, Racinos, Horse Tracks, Dog Tracks, and Casino Cruises in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com) has announced the addition of 2004 North American Gaming Almanac to their offering. The North American Gaming Almanac covers nearly 1,500 casinos, card rooms, racinos, horse tracks, dog tracks, and casino cruises in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Basic information for each property is provided including the property name, physical address, web site address, and main and fax telephone numbers. Property Profiles: Statistical profiles are also provided for individual properties. Profiles show: - The number of slots or video lottery terminals, table games, poker tables, the number of bingo seats at a property and whether the property has a sports book or a race book. - The number of hotel rooms, restaurants, entertainment venues, and parking spaces as well as the total casino square footage and convention square footage. Geographical Marketplace Analysis: A spreadsheet included on the CD allows you to easily perform a geographic analysis of gaming market areas. You can specify a specific gaming property, and the distance around that property that comprises a marketplace you want to examine. The spreadsheet will show you all other properties that lie within that marketplace, and their total offerings within the marketplace. Total offerings within the marketplace are provided for the number of slots, table games, hotel rooms, and all other statistics found in the profiles of individual properties. A map file is also included on the CD displaying all North American gaming properties geographically on a map. Different types of gaming properties are identified with color-coded icons. Property details can be viewed by clicking on each icon. The map file can be opened using Microsoft MapPoint software. |
