You should probably try to manually place each location one at a time. Then you can search for the place in the preference you want - ie. postcode, coords, then street address.

Coordinates should be the most accurate (whether the ones that have been given to you, are , is another matter!). If you must use a Dataset Import (and often you do), I would write a QC program that does the above searching and creates a pushpin set. Then export the longitude,latitude coordinates from these pins (your code, or PushpinSet); then copy these in to your original dataset.
