It is a part of the programming interface.
If I understand correctly, you have a lot of points that you want to route over a few days.
Then use your office location as a return address at the end of each day?
You can't do this with MapPoint. What you would have to do is to manually split your points up into days. Then you can create each day's route and set your office as the start & end location.
You can "Optimize" the route - the start and end will be respected, but the points within the day's route will be re-ordered.
