There's not.. there's sort of the point of MapPoint - to give an object model to the map renderer. As for a hack, I'd explore automating it via various sendkeys techniques.. I used to have some fairly sophisticated DeLorme StreetAtlas / WinBatch mapping apps :-) There would always have to be very explicit instructions for the user Not to touch the keyboard or mouse at certain steps and it would still break down occasionally, but this approach may work for you..
