I was wondering whether anyone here knows about potential updates to map data. MapPoint 2002 Europe doesn't currently come even close to the level of details in USA and Canada edition. For many major countries (Scandinavia, Ireland, Portlugal etc.) the software in currently not useable at all. Are there scheduled service packs for the European edition?

Coverage for major areas in the rest for of the world would also be nice (Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, some ares in South America etc.)

Is the map data format documented and/or is there a SDK for importing and edting the contents of the map database?
