I have installed mappoint 2004 in my windows server 2003, it also has IIS 6.0. Is it possible to develop a web application don this webserver (which has mappoint 2004 installed) which can perform tasks like maps and driving directions, using visual C++/ C#/ vb.net ?
I do not intend to sell those services but for my pesonal benefit I want to create something like that. So that I can use my pocketpc to get directions via web.
I am aware that microsoft also provides the webservice that has development license right now, but I am interested to know if I can use the mappoint 2004 installation that I have.

if this is possible any pointers on where to start from?
