Hi all,

we are trying to call the MapPoint ActiveX control from a COM+ application developed in VB. Whenever we try to call the MapPoint object we get the following error in the event log along with the failure:

"Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The server is:
{15A40122-24D2-4FDB-8155-5F65FCE7017F}
The user is [user]/[DOMAIN], SID=S-1-5-21-796845957-839522115-1708537768-1121. "

Our error trapping also shows the following error:

"Error No: 70"," Error: Permission denied"

has anybody encountered this before, any ideas???
