one of our customers wants to do this:

set a GPS box in each of their vehicles. This is justa GPS (NMEA) coordinates datalogger.

Each day, after the working hours each of the vehicles will return to base and there all the logged GPS coords. will be tranferred to a central database.

Then, he wants to have a report (text list, not graphical ) with the route this vehicle did during the labour day.




So, we are considering using Mappoint (2004) to do this. But we have two questions:
1. Is mappoint capable of listing a route in text mode, based of the gps coords (we Know it can be done graphically, by pointpointing the origin and destination)?

2. If so, can this be achieved from the API? is something similar documented somewhere?
