I second the call for more control over the balloons. The overprints from balloon labels make the map look very unprofessional and unreadable. I can't scale change, or use an inset without cluttering the subject matter.
I would wish for more control over the balloons, rather than "autosize." I think MS tries to "automate" way too much in their programming. Give the user control. The lack of control over balloon orientation is "illogical". (You can control the orientation when alot of information/fields are shown in the baloon, but when you limit the information to just "show name" you lose functionality over the orientation? Why?)
Does anyone have a workaround for this?
I downloaded the very handy pushpin tool, but it does not address this specific problem.
