I am looking for a web based software (control ActiveX like) that provides the lat/long a map when the user clicks on it.

The current application uses ASPMap and we need to do the following via the internet

When user clicks on a point, we fill a table with the lat/long and draw a line as the user clicks . We want to create a "route" concept, but not the MAPPOINT route.

I know mappoint will do this but we do not want to use the mappoint service. We want to have the web server resident. Could someone help here.

I will be glad to give you some more requirements if you can point me in the right direction.

This will be a high high high volumn of data so speed is the issue
