I just tried it in MP2002 and MP2004 and the points mentioned do not get imported (they are skipped). It seems to coincide with the data import (or maybe my Excel source) deciding to convert the values to scientific notation e.g longitude of "1e-005". I'll have a look at the code method and see if that does it as well - my guess is that it will.
If you have found a solution already - please post it as my application will need to be able to plot points accurately in this area.
