I have a VB application that uses the MP activex component. Problem is when a new user logs on to the computer, MapPoint says it's not properly registered on the machine. When the user opens a map file, MP opens with no problems. After that, my applications works fine. Is there a reason the user has to open MapPoint before my application uses the ActiveX component?
