I am attempting to install the Spatial Data Import COM Add-In and encounter the following error when I attempt to install the COM Add-In from the install feature within MapPoint 2004:

"SpatialDataImport.dll is not a valid Office Add-In."

I am using the most recent version of the Add-In available on the MS web site dated 7/9/2004.

I have downloaded and installed everything as directed by the documentation. I have been able to find only one other user on the web that has encountered the same problem. Unfortunately, that user's post was not answered with a solution.

Is this related to other Office programs I am running? Is it registry related? Any ideas?
