I truly think that anyone reads this book. They will leave wanting more I can't wait to see part two of the Di Vinci Code. Dan Brown is an Amazing writter. Hes putting his Idea out there for all to see. He isnt saying something that has been said for a long time now. hes just bring that out into the lite. I hope that people see that he is not dissing the catholics, christians or the jews. Its his own opinion on what he believe he believes in the Mary Magadelin. We should be greatful for a good book to read that makes us go WOW when you finish it or what it made happen for me I cried because the story intwined with the history aspect of the book made me go wow this guy is good. I can't wait to see were he takes us in his next book and I hope people see that this is his own Opinion and hes not trying to hurt anyone.

I ran into this post completely by accident, looking for an answer to a mappoint question (Go figure!) but my attention was caught because I also just recently read the Da Vinci Code and was totally blown away by it. Like some other people here, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I started it on a Sunday morning, and even though I had to work Monday, read it all through the night until I finished.
Gabby, like you you, I was starving for more after reading it. You may be interested in looking at "Angels & Demons";after I went into work on Monday (delerious from lack of sleep but just ranting and raving what an awesome book this was!) my co-worker recommended to me; it is actually the prequel (kind of) to The Da Vinci Code. I guess it's not really a prequel, but it was a previous book by Dan Brown that had Landgon in it (TDVC talks about some of his previous experiences in Rome, and about Vittoria. It's not as good as TDVC, but it's still better than at least 90% of the books I've read in the past couple of years.
Also, to the other people who enjoyed TDVC as much as I did (and here, I'll assume that most, if not all of you, are also computer nerds like me!) you might also really enjoy "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown... it's a mystery thriller with encryption, codes, super computers, etc.
