You cannot replace the data that is built into MapPoint 2001 with updated data. There are two approaches to consider. Either you upgrade to MapPoint 2002 - this comes with updated demographics built in, or you acquire demographic data and use the Import or Link Data feature to bring it into MapPoint as custom data.
