My life would be made easier if I could link and import SQL Server database tables and views directly into Mappoint. Actually I'd be happy to settle for support for Access .ADP files instead of just true Access .MDB type file formats.

What do other people think?....

Hi David J,

I work with MapPoint2004 European Edition and connecting to SQL Server tables and views actually does work, but only with UDL Files, which holds the connection string for the db.

Creating a UDL file does not work in Windows XP out of the box, so you have to download a reg patch from Microsoft.

Just look for "UDL" in the Help & Support Section of your windows help.
