Hi,

I'm experiencing the same problem with Mappoint 2009.
We have 2 different users on our machine.
One is an administrator and our app works fine.
The other one is not an administrator and then we get the 16398 error.

Before, we used mappoint 2006 in the same kind of users definition and worked fine.

Since we tried to implement mappoint 2009, and have to put file "New North American Map.ptt" into Mappoint's templates directcory, I've got the error.

Any idea?

Got the same thing on my system with MapPoint 2010. I am running with Windows 7 and I get this using the 2008 and 2010 version of visual studio.

I am kinda lost.
