    Val,

if you right click on your new pushpins which you have imported and look at the properties you will see that there is an option to allocate the pin to a data set or create a new date set to assign them to. This is a close as you can get to doing what you require.

We wanted to do the same thing here and have had to use this method to achieve a similar result.

This work can also be done automatically if you write your own custom data import routine.

    Regards,

    Dave

    Hi Val,

    Ok that's no problem.

use the addPushPinSet method to create the datasets.

use the AddPushpin method to create the pushpins from your address's

and use MoveTo method to move pushpins around different datasets.

If you need any examples of the code look at the help within mappoint for some examples. I don't have any VB examples myself as we are not using it here.

    Dave.
