    Adding Non-Numerical Data

I have a spreadsheet that has the addresses of all my clients and the company that we have them with. I want to be able to show the number of clients with a certain company for each zip code. For example Zip Code 99999 is comprised of 342 of Company B, 643 Company C etc. I'd like them to either show up on a pie or bar graph for each respective zip code. When I try to import data, Map Point cannot use graphs unless the data is numerical. Is there any way to get Map Point to add up the number of clients with a certain company? Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to do this. Thank you very much

You'll want to sum the count of customers by zip code first and have all the data for a zip code in a single record or row like this:

    zipcode, custa, custb
    94109, 500, 225
    94108, 300, 425

See here for more explanation and sample data:

I see what you are saying but I was hoping there was a way map point could do it for me. I have over 20,000 clients spread over a couple hundred zip codes. Thanks for your help though at least I know what I need to do now
