You can ceate a COM addin using VB and use the OnStartupComplete event. There are instructions in the help file. Another approach, zoom in to your preferred location. Do a File-->Save. Save as,say, MyMap.ptm . Instead of opening Mappoint direcly, double click the MyMap.ptm file and it should go to the prefered location. HTH Srini         |
