| Hiking Trails
I love Mappoint for wayfinding. However, it's much less useful when I enter a national park, national forest, or other wilderness area. I believe that some readily available maps showing dirt roads, hiking trails, and general points of interest in some of the most popular wilderness areas would really enhance the product. There are probably lots of people who would purchase the product solely for access to this kind of information. Even including detailed maps for a couple of national parks (Yosemite and Yellowstone, and / or the Grand Canyon maybe) would be a great addition. |

| RE: MapPoint Wish List
I would like to second, third, and fourth the desire for Australia/NZ support in MapPoint. The business analysis tools in MapPoint and the integration with MS products is great (not to mention it further keeps our company from migrating our 6000+ workstations to nonMS operating systems). |

Mappoint does almost everything I need, except for a couple of functions and I would like to see some more details. 1.) When exporting data into Excel, I would like to be able to have more options included with what is already available or selected (City name) when exporting. 2.) Exit numbers on all the major highways 3.) view the direction of one-way streets |

| Extra MapPoint Data
I would like to see data necessary for truckers ... bridge heights, road widths and directions (for one way streets). I'd also like to see speed limits for roads in the directions. Finally, COMPLETE data (as if that's actually possible) would be nice. Many streets are not even shown in MapPoint where I can walk out the front door and say "oh look, there's a street" ... who does Microsoft buy their data from? They may want to consider other companies... Otherwise, what exactly are we paying for??? |
