I am using Mappoint via VB 6.0 and the database driving the app is too complex to import directly into MapPoint (please don't ask - too painful to explain). What I am trying to do and can't figure how is to add a pushpin with more data than just the location and name.
I have the Lat/Lon plus a lot of information - the 'fields' varies from pushpin to pushpin. What I want to do is programmatically add pushpins one at a time and have a custom set of data appear in their balloons. Is this possible?

If not, is there a way to 'hand build', on the fly, a record set that I could then use the MoveToPushpin method to creat these pins.

With deadline approaching in two days, I am happy to offer flowers, chocolates or any form of currency to anyone who can help.

Thanks for the suggestion but this is happening within an interactive application (ie the user is choosing a bunch of parameters, selecting on those parameters, mapping the result, choosing different ones, etc.) and we cannot count on them having Excel.

What about exporting to a comma seperated text file (or tab seperated) file?

How about just building the string you want in you're VB routine, and putting the whole thing into the pushpin NOTE property.

something like:
