Is there standardization of street addresses similar to the FIPS? I've repeatedly imported a list of my retail locations with higher than acceptable number of unmatched records. After reviewing the source list and standardizing addresses as much as possible (i.e. I-10 vs. Interstate 10), I'm still having difficulty with getting all my records to match accurately. The kinds of addresses of specific concern are those on major highways such as interstates, highways, state routes, Farm to Market roads, Loops and the like. Often times on these roads, the name of the road is recognized but specific address numbers are not.

Unfortunately as you are finding, address ranges are missing for many roads, particularly the "routes" or major roads.

You can tell by clicking on the road, if a little white circle shows with the road name and approximate address number, the segment has a range. If it prompts you to 'Select a Place', the address range for that segment does not exist.
