Adjustable Scale Threshold for Detail
MapPoint is a great tool that would be even better if the user were given some control over the scale threshold for viewing map detail. Unlimited control is not necessary; just a reasonable range of settings would be sufficient. My specific requirement is to display a single map of New York State with the county boundaries and names visible. The current hard-coded threshold vanishes the county information just short of statewide extent.
