After using the Link Data Wizard in Microsoft MapPoint 2002, the sumation of net values by Territory is inaccurate.
Why would mappoint sum this information incorrectly? Is it possible to move Column Charts, Pie Charts, etc. that have
been placed on a map through linked data? Can you customize colors for your territories?

We haven't seen any issues with the summation of values by Territory. We'll look into this further.

Charts can be repositioned manually, simply by selecting them with the mouse and moving them to the desired location.

You can change colors of territories, but your only choices are the 10 shades each of purple, blue, green, yellow and orange. Microsoft did this because many colors are used for other map features, so if you would use them for territories, these other map features would vanish.

Moving charts not for aggregated data

Hi Guest

Commenting on your remark
"Charts can be repositioned manually, simply by selecting them with the mouse and moving them to the desired location."

I would like to ask how you do this. According to MapPoint Help file, you cannot select individual data map symbols or charts from aggregated data.

Now eg. pie charts are mostly used on some aggregated level. Do you know if there is a workaround to move these anyway?

regards
Pieter Joost
