I would like to integrate an existent C# application with cartographic feature (map,show pushpin,calculate route netween points)
I am interest in only one city data map and i'am thinking to a client standalone application. I know that i could use MapPoint (at least i think it...because actually ihave not tested it) anyway...i would like to evaluate also other solution. Is there anyone that can suggest me an alternative to MapPoint?

I don't think you'll find anything cheaper than MapPoint if your concern is price.

Italian city. not a fixed i could change depending on customer. At the moment it could be Milan or jsut Rome for example.
Anyway taling about cost...this is an important point and important evaluation parameter. so MapPoint could win on other solutions.
Actually i am going to test the trial but...about this did you know if it can do the things i am searcing for ? So..from c# application i want show a point(icon) on map, find an address, calculate route between two point or get the address from a gps point.

Getting the address from a GPS point is not built-in functionality but there are hacks for that (see reverse geocoding articles at MapPoint Articles - MP2K Magazine ) or you could use an online service.

Sorry for my wrong expression. I don't want to get signal from GPS. I just have the point in a Lat,Long format and i would like to show it with an icon on the map.

I think everything you want to do is easily done in MapPoint. There's a fully functional trial for MapPoint 2010 Europe if you want to take the next step and download that.

Ok, thankyou. I am going to search it because actually i have found only the american version.
Just last one question... in future is it possible update map point maps or it is not possible. I saw somewere someone that was selling just europe map but i don't remember much things about that.

I have found european version directly on main site. There is a real additional problem. Because now i have to understand what is the difference between the license of standard and fleet version.
because i have to show more than one point on map and probably the fleet version have a too expansive cost for us.

It depends what the points are. Are you tracking vehicles? Then you probably require the fleet version.
However if the points are customers, then you probably don't.
I would check with your local Microsoft sales office to see what they say.
