Those of you working in GIS will want to check out the soon-to-be-released update for Arc2Earth 2.0 which will bring the Virtual Earth Map control directly into Esri's ArcGIS. Arc2Earth v2 shipped recently and is already a powerful tool to assist in integrating your ESRI data into Virtual Earth web applications. One of the additions in the forthcoming point release is the ability to embed VE/VE3D directly into ArcGIS as a custom view. Watch for this update in about a week according to Brain Flood, creator of Arc2Earth, which will have the ability to sync the map extent with the VE extent.
