ASP & KIOSK integration

I am building a mapping kiosk for an airport. The core kiosk management system is built in ASP & VB Script. I need to be able to create maps & driving direction dynamically.

I believe this would comply with the license as it will run on one machine and not over the INTERNET. The machine will run Windows2000 Professional and IIS5.0

Can mappoint 2004 do this or do I need the web service? I think the web service is priced too prohibitively.

If I can do this, how do I connect to mappoint so that I can use the objects, methods & properties.

Any example would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone would like to take on this project, please email me immediatly.
thanks all

Programming MapPoint is covered in the help that comes with it. It is also included in the online MSDN. Yes you can programmatically ask it to produce routes and display resulting map and directions. You can also get at the directions programmatically, if you wished to process them for printing, say.

I've used it with C++ and VB6. This site is a good one to search for tips about using different languages, so try searching for ASP & VB Script. If your chosen language can handle COM objects, then you can definitely handle MapPoint.
