Assertion failed error
Hello,
We have built an Oracle Forms 6 application with MapPoint linked as ActiveX. We are now installing this application on other PC's, and on some of them we observe this error (as soon as an object on the map is selected) :

Assertion failed
Visual C++ Runtime library
file \uat\src\msw\uatzobj.cpp
line: 287
expression: pDiSp

Apparently it has nothing to do with the platform, we see this error on some Windows XP PC's, but everything works fine on some other Windows XP and 2000 machines.

Would anyone have a clue ?

Finally I found out that this problem was solved after installing the Oracle Forms patch number 17 (that brings Forms to version 6.0.8.26.0).

So we can classify this problem as an Oracle Forms bug...
