Assigning territories AND specific accounts

I'm new to MapPoint. My business is a Manufacturer's Representative. Most of my salesmen have geographic territories, but some has specific target accounts.

I want to assign territories via 5digit zip. How can I do this an avoid conflicts?

for example. Salesperson A has a geographic territory that includes zip code 00001. Salesperson B has only one large account inside zip code 00001. But there are other smaller accounts within that zip code that belong to Salesperson A.

Send a message via MSN to paulus
why don't you make a different map for every different sales persons?

so a map for person A, with al his clients on the map as pushpins, a map for person b with all his clients on the map and so on, I solved your problem like this.

ps, I presume you make one map with al the clients of your company, sorted by territory?

Yes, that is correct. We have one map with all salespeople's account shown.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll consider that.

Territories and Individual Location Data

Have you found a way to show both pieces of information on the same map? I am trying to do the same type of visual, but haven't been able to resolve this.

Thanks!
