In MapPoint2003 the majority of Minor Roads are missing.
They are all visible in AutoRoute2002 and in MapPoint2002.
In AutoRoute2003 all the Main roads, Motorways, etc are visible for Ireland, the smaller roads aren't there.
However the level of street detail in Dublin for example is far better than in 2002.
Has anyone else noticed this problem or know the reason / solution to this problem.
I've read on this site a method of using data from AutoRoute2003 with MapPoint2002.
Is there any way of combining the two maps so as to benefit from the increased level of detail that AutoRoute2003 provides for cities such as Dublin.

This posting is more of an associated problem that Irish users face than a reply to the above. Northern Ireland has had a postcode system for years but, unlike the excellent mapping of postcodes which is in place in Mappoint 2002 for mainland UK users, the postcode data mapping is not implemented for Northern Ireland. Does anyone know why this is the case or if there are any plans to redress it? Thanks. NM

I don't know the official reason / excuse, but some postcode products have "exceptions" such as Northern Ireland.
eg. I know the Ordnance Survey's Mastermap product excludes BT (Northern Ireland), Jersey, Gernsey, Isle of Man, amongst others.
