This is a discussion on Aztec log format/conversion to MapPoint within the MapPoint 2006/2009 Discussion forums, part of the Map Forums category; I was wondering if anyone might know how to convert this coordinate system to a format that MapPoint can read. ...

Looks like degrees-minutes-seconds without the decimal points. Can you give a location so we can confirm we're looking at the right place? (I'd guess Seattle, based on the N47, W122. But if you don't want to give it, go to a conversion site such as http://www.spatialbase.com/dd_dms.htm and see what/where it gives you.) If that's the right format, the conversion is pretty simple. you can do a search on for "convert degrees minutes seconds" and find it, or reply back and someone can post the algorythm. Rahn :) |
