Having problems with MP not recognizing BA postcodes. Can you please advise?

Find postcode "BA" works fine on my MP2002.

You really nead a converson table specific to Mappoint 2002 and access to the PAF file, like you get with postcode deciphering software. I do extensive work with MapPoint because it is feature rich and good for my clients to buy and work with once I have set them up.

The only down-side is the data cleansing you need to do with it. I would recommend AFD postcode plus and if you doing high volume geo-coding replacement work I would suggest you get their product called Refiner which auto-corrects database for you with nearest / next nearest. I have had no problems of significance with the BA postcode over and above any other postcode and have just checked a lot of datasets all which include these codes.

There are however still quite a few absences and individual errors in MapPoint's postcode file when compared with the royal mail PAF.
