I was seeking to convert Township Range Section legal locations in to GPS coordinates, and I found this site: Township and Range That throws as TRS layer into Google Earth. Now I do the manual search for the right section, and I get the GPS. Pretty cool. Now, there's gotta be a way in Google Earth to do a keyword sorta search by typing in the TRS data...
