Batch export in Mappoint 2004

I have about 50 location with a custom push-pin in a mappoint .ptm. Now what I need to do is to get a graphic (.gif, .jpg, etc...) for every zipcode in a excel list (about 150 zip codes). The graphic needs to have the the push-ins with the ballons displayed.

Now I have been able to do this manually. Opening the ptm files and then looking up a zip code, zooming in to a specific size and they opening all push-pins visble then saving as a html. It takes me about a week and half to do.

Any one know of a faster more efficient way to do this, a script or something. I have very little knowledge in programing, but can usually understand concepts. Thanks.

I would recommend taking a look at the Excel tutorials in the recent newsletters.. this would get you started scripting in Excel VBA, zooming to locations, etc.

(Stay tuned for a fourth installment at http://www.mp2kmag.com/update/ )

I think you would use something like CopyMap or SavetoHTML to get the graphic out.
