Microsoft Makes a Great Geo Hire!

Steve Coast, founder of OpenStreeMap, has been hired on at Microsoft as a Principle Architect for Bing Mobile. Steve will lead a new initiative with the OpenStreetMaps project, a community of 250,000 people who have built high quality maps for every country on earth. Additionally, as part of this initiative, Microsoft is donating access to Bing’s Aerial Imagery for use in the OpenStreetMaps project.
