Just curious if anyone knows how to print mappionts without the map?
I want to layer transparancies over the existing map.
I currently have mappoint but I do not think it can be done.
does anyone have a work around?
If you, or your friends, are going to Hong Kong, it is nice to visit this website www.hongkongtourmap.com which tells you the recommeded sight-seeings as well as location of different shops.
Apologies for the lack of blog posts in the past couple of months, but it has been a hectic time. We have a number of new but minor product version releases due soon. However the big news is our new community website: The Geoweb Guru.
GeoWeb Guru is intended to cover all online geospatial platforms including Microsoft Virtual Earth and MapPoint Web Service. It is intended to cover all levels from user to developer, although there is a deliberate bias towards technical and how-to subjects
Virtual Earth appeared in this past weekend's science fiction blockbuster release - "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves. The movie sees alien activity around the global and the start of worldwide destruction - good situations in which to have a mapping platform like Virtual Earth! Virtual Earth is free to use in movies and so is expected to be in many more movies in the future - whenever it might be a good idea to look at things on a map.
