    Apologies for the lack of blog posts in the past couple of months, but it has been a hectic time. We have a number of new but minor product version releases due soon. However the big news is our new community website: The Geoweb Guru.

  2. Virtual Earth in "The Day the Earth Stood Still"

    Virtual Earth appeared in this past weekend's science fiction blockbuster release - "The Day the Earth Stood Still" with Keanu Reeves. The movie sees alien activity around the global and the start of worldwide destruction - good situations in which to have a mapping platform like Virtual Earth! Virtual Earth is free to use in movies and so is expected to be in many more movies in the future - whenever it might be a good idea to look at things on a map.

    The posts on MapForums.com appear in a number of different sections, and if you want to scan all the latest posts, it can be tedious starting from the home page of MapForums, clicking into each section, and scanning the posts.

    A list of all the most recent posts does appear on the home page of MP2Kmag.com on the right sidebar, but this does not include information about which section it is from, who posted it, and the date.

    A somewhat hidden feature on MapForums does ...
