I've been doing some tweaking of my mapplication.
The ancient Aloha NOAA dll would render an threat zone and a confidence zone. The difference between the 2 is that the confidence zone swept out a wider arc- compensating for variations in wind direction and other inaccuracies. Never can be too safe with the hazardous materials

I have MapPoint 2006 with GPS. Have it installed on my Laptop. Everything is great except the audio volume for Turn by Turn instructions. It is very difficult to hear the instructions when driving due to road noise, etc.

All my audio volume controls are set at the max. If I play a CD recording while driving, I can hear with no problems.

Friends say Garmin is easy to hear when driving.

Not too much to change to transpose the 'Eggs' to VE. I rewrote the loop which created the coordinate pairs to write the javascript coding and then I needed to re-origin the map- in HTML, the origin point is the upper left corner of the screen.

So now I have a map which is hard coded on the release location. A simple point-click should be able to take care of that portion. Then the next part will be a db lookup to get the isolation distances. When we are done it should be a 3 part...
