Our MPCluster analysis add-in for Microsoft MapPoint has been ported to Caliper's Maptitude GIS system, and is available for beta testing. We are currently planning to have the first full release available in February.

The Maptitude version of MPCluster also adds a new algorithm: Hierarchical Clustering, in addition to the original K-Means. Hierarchical clustering is deterministic and should result in more reliable clusters.
The Maptitude version also supports Maptitude's sophisticated data base - the cluster results can be written to Excel (as before), new Maptitude layers, and/or a Maptitude data view. The latter can be automatically joined to your input data, allowing your data to be colored according the cluster allocations.

Please contact us if you would like to test MPCluster.

Information on the MapPoint version of MPCluster can be found at: http://www.mpcluster.com
