  1. MPExporter: New Maptitude & Excel export options ready for beta testing

    The new version of MPExporter (v1.2) is pretty much ready for beta testing if anyone is interested.

    MPExporter is designed to "export all your accessible data out of MapPoint". The released version already supports KML, HTML (Google Maps/Bing Maps), and SVG. The new version adds Excel (datasets only) and Maptitude.

    MPExporter can export all data map types (pie charts, bar charts) to a matching plot type in Maptitude.(*)

  3. MPExporter Initial Pre-Release v0.1 available: Export spatial data from Microsoft MapPoint

    We have just released the first version of MPExporter, our new spatial data export add-in for Microsoft MapPoint.

    MPExporter can export all accessible data (**) from Microsoft MapPoint to KML, interactive HTML (using Bing Maps or Google Maps), and SVG(*).
    This includes shapes, datasets, pushpin sets, and routes.

    Over the next few weeks, I'm rolling out a series of updates to the Mapping-Tools product line of tools and extensions for Microsoft MapPoint. Most of these fix a problem seen during the installer which appears on user accounts with restricted permissions. This fix has also been released in MPRouteWriter 3.6.

    Today, MPCluster v2.3 was released. This performs cluster analysis in your MapPoint datasets.

  5. Looking for MPSuperShape beta testers...

    I am currently working on v3 of MPSuperShape. This will be a free upgrade for existing licensed users of MPSuperShape v2.*, but it will include support for Windows 8 and a few relatively minor additions.

    The Windows 8 support is requiring a complete rewrite of the projection/coordinate system support in the ESRI 'Shape' (SHP) file and MapInfo 'MIF' import/export options. This is where I need the beta testers.
