| Books, material and courses? I wonder if there are more ressources to learn programming with MapPoint? The help file is not soooo bad but I'd like to study things somewhat further, especially working with dataSets and displaying data. I'm in doubt that "MapPoint for dummies" (the only book I found) ist the right stuff to go along. TIA Chris Werner         |

Try the Programming MapPoint in .NET book. Although the sample are C# they are easy to read and convert to any other language. Eric

| Re: Books, material and courses? For those interested in leveraging Excel and/or VBA with MapPoint, I have a new reference out titled "Excel Basics to Blackbelt" (Cambridge Press 2008 ). Lot's of tricks to make use of. I've made a number of applications that integrate MapPoint with other apps through Excel and VBA as well.
