are you able to change the order of the pushpins and bring them to the front? right now, the pushpins are behind my line drawings and there is no option (there was in streets and trips) to bring the pushpins to the front so they are on top of the lines ive drawn, not behind them.

Yes - using the desktop interface, right-click an object, select Order, then choose "Send Back" or one of the other options.

Via the API, use the Zorder() method for shapes, and send them behind roads and pushpins.

that works for everythig BUT pushpins. there is no "order" option when you right-click the object.

That's why I specifically mentioned sending shapes behind.

Is there no way to set a priority for pushpins? Do you have to just place them in the order of importance (highest last?)

I have found a work-around for my current set of maps, but it seems odd to me that a pushpin can't be brought forward or sent back.

As I remember, Pushpins are drawn at something like the same level as the roads/cartographic stuff. You can't control the "ZOrder" or put Pushpins behind roads like you can with shape objects.
