A coworker of mine contacted MS regarding this. His contact STRONGLY discouraged development of MapPoint in C++. I personally have coded some MapPoint stuff in C#, VB 6.0, VB.NET, and C++. With the exception of C++, all of these implementations were very easy. The C++ implementation was painful, to say the least.         |
